Different Types of Ply:

12 Gauge / 2 Ply

12-gauge/2-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has two strands twisted together (2-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 12 stitches per inch (12-gauge). 8 Gauge / 2 Ply

This type of knit fabric will have a moderate thickness and density, making it suitable for garments like sweaters, cardigans, and hats, as well as accessories like scarves and mittens.
