Jin Relaxed High-Low Knit Jumper
The Jin relaxed high-low knit jumper redefines modern knitwear with quiet sophistication and contemporary shape. Designed to move with the body rather than cling to it, this elevated essential features a fluid silhouette that falls gently from the shoulders into a softly extended back hem.
From the front, the clean boat neckline creates a refined horizontal line across the collarbone — minimalist, flattering and endlessly versatile. The neckline is finished with a subtle rolled edge that enhances the natural softness of the knit while keeping the aesthetic pure and understated.
The short batwing-style sleeves are cut wide and relaxed, offering breathability and a sculptural drape. This shape creates natural movement through the side profile, where the true character of this high low knit jumper becomes clear. The hem dips lower at the back (65cm) while remaining slightly shorter at the front (62cm), giving balance, coverage and a flattering elongated effect.
Knitted in an 8gg / 1ply cashmere blend (30% cashmere, 70% lambswool), Jin delivers softness with structure. Lightweight yet cosy, it layers seamlessly over tailored trousers, denim or silk skirts. Whether styled casually or elevated for evening, this piece offers refined versatility with a contemporary edge.

Different Types of Ply:
12 Gauge / 2 Ply
12-gauge/2-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has two strands twisted together (2-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 12 stitches per inch (12-gauge). This type of knit fabric will have a relatively fine texture and high density, making it suitable for garments with a close, fitted, or refined look, such as lightweight sweaters, dresses, or accessories like gloves and scarves.
The 2-ply yarn adds strength and structure to the fabric while maintaining a balanced thickness, ensuring the knitted items are durable and long-lasting.
8 Gauge / 2 Ply
8-gauge/2-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has two strands twisted together (2-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 8 stitches per inch (8-gauge). This type of knit fabric will have a moderate thickness and density, making it suitable for garments like sweaters, cardigans, and hats, as well as accessories like scarves and mittens.
The 8-gauge allows for a comfortable balance of warmth and breathability, and the 2-ply yarn provides durability and structure to the fabric.
8 Gauge / 4 Ply
8-gauge/4-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has four strands twisted together (4-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 8 stitches per inch (8-gauge). This type of knit fabric will have a moderate thickness and density, making it suitable for a wide range of projects. It can be used to create garments like sweaters, cardigans, and hats, as well as accessories like scarves and mittens.
The 8-gauge allows for a comfortable balance of warmth and breathability, and the 4-ply yarn provides durability and structure to the fabric. Since this gauge is not too fine or too bulky, it offers versatility in projects and allows for a good knitting speed.
7 Gauge / 6 Ply
7-gauge/6-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has six strands twisted together (6-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 7 stitches per inch (7-gauge). Due to its thickness and warmth is well-suited for creating cozy and cold-weather garments such as heavy sweaters, jackets, blankets, and scarves.
The 7-gauge creates larger stitches and a more open texture, resulting in a fabric that drapes well and is suitable for layering. The 6-ply yarn adds strength and structure, making the finished knitted items more resilient and long-lasting.
4 Gauge / 10 Ply
4-gauge/10-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has ten strands twisted together (10-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 4 stitches per inch (4-gauge). This type of knit fabric will have a substantial thickness and density, making it ideal for projects that require extra warmth and durability.
The 4-gauge creates larger stitches and a more open texture, resulting in a fabric that drapes well and is suitable for layering. The 10-ply yarn adds significant thickness and warmth, making the finished knitted items perfect for cold-weather garments.
Ochre Knitwear Cashmere Mix Wool
Cashmere mix fabric is made by blending cashmere and lambs wool together. In this particular blend, the fabric is composed of 30% cashmere and 70% lambs wool.
100% Cashmere:
Cashmere is a luxurious, fine, and soft fiber that is obtained from the undercoat of cashmere goats. It is known for its exceptional warmth and softness, making it a popular choice for clothing and accessories.
100% Lambs Wool:
Lambs wool, on the other hand, is a softer and finer type of wool that comes from the first shearing of a lamb. It is lightweight, warm, and insulating, making it a great material for clothing, especially in cold weather.
Mixture:
When cashmere and lambs wool are blended together, the resulting fabric combines the best qualities of both fibers. The cashmere provides softness and warmth, while the lambs wool provides durability and insulation. The resulting fabric is lighter and softer than pure lambs wool, but more durable and insulating than pure cashmere.
Overall, a cashmere mix fabric containing 30% cashmere and 70% lambs wool is a versatile and high-quality material that offers a balance of comfort, warmth, and durability.
