Different Types of Ply:
12 Gauge / 2 Ply
12-gauge/2-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has two strands twisted together (2-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 12 stitches per inch (12-gauge). 8 Gauge / 2 Ply
8-gauge/2-ply knit” refers to a knitted fabric made with a yarn that has two strands twisted together (2-ply) and is knitted at a gauge of approximately 8 stitches per inch (8-gauge). 7 Gauge / 6 Ply
