The Fugu textured funnel neck jumper is defined by an unusual raised stitch pattern that moves across the body and sleeves in soft, looping trails. Fugu is knitted in 4 Gauge / 5 Ply from 30% cashmere and 70% lambswool. The Raised Stitch Detail

Fugu does not use a conventional rope cable or dense Aran panel. Instead, small raised loops travel over a smoother knitted ground, joining into loose vertical and diamond-like formations. The result is tactile and dimensional, with the pattern changing subtly as light moves across the surface.

The stitchwork continues over the front, upper body and sleeves, so the garment retains its character from the side as well as the front. Plain knitted borders at the collar, cuffs and hem prevent the texture from becoming visually busy.

The neckline is a true funnel shape: high, ribbed and designed to stand rather than fold over. It gives gentle coverage around the neck without the double thickness of a traditional roll neck.

From the collar, the upper body is shaped with a saddle-style shoulder line. This construction creates a defined path across the shoulder before the sleeve falls away, giving Fugu more structure than a simple dropped-sleeve jumper while still allowing an easy fit.

The body falls in a relaxed straight line, with enough room through the chest to sit comfortably without becoming dramatically oversized. The sleeves are full through the upper arm and taper towards smooth knitted cuffs.

A broad plain-knit hem anchors the patterned body. At each side, a 5cm split opens the lower edge, giving the jumper a little release over the hip and helping the front and back hang cleanly.

Fugu is made from 30% cashmere and 70% lambswool. Cashmere softens the surface, while lambswool contributes warmth, bounce and the stability needed to hold the raised pattern.

The 4 Gauge / 5 Ply knit is substantial and clearly textured. It is warmer and more structured than a fine-gauge layer, making it well suited to colder days, yet the side splits and balanced proportions keep the silhouette comfortable.

Keep the rest of the outfit simple and let the raised stitchwork do the work. Fugu pairs naturally with straight or wide-leg trousers, denim, cord or a long skirt. Its 58–59cm length works particularly well with mid- and high-rise shapes.
